“I’d like to mention that the Gadsden Christmas Parade community event was a big success! Although rain was in the forecast, the parade had a big turnout of people. We had a great response from all the marketing items that were used in the parade. The children loved & were very excited to get the footballs, glow sticks, beads, & bags filled with candy & coloring books. We also passed out USAgencies holiday greeting flyers and pens to the adults along the route.
We were number 98 out of 104 parade entries and the rain held off until right as we entered the street to start the parade route and became very heavy as we went along. Because of this, & the parade moving along fast (all the agents and volunteers were very busy), it was very difficult for us to get any photos along the parade route. We did however get some photos just before the parade & rain started and I have attached those photos. Despite the rain, all of the agents and volunteers had a fun time working the parade and representing our company to the community.
We were told by family members that attended the parade, that when our entry passed by, some people around them proudly announced that we were their insurance company and very nice people to deal with. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the agents & family members who volunteered their time to assist with this event. I’d also like to thank our marketing department & our company leaders who assisted in making this event possible for us. Thank you!
